The affiliate program is a one way linking program that tracks sales and offers rewards or cash payout.
When you add the affiliate program to your website it allows customers, friends, bloggers and other websites to join the program and retrieve one of your banners to add to their website or blog in order to drive traffic to your site. You will need to decide what When someone clicks on your banner on their site, the clicks are recorded by mTracker. If someone makes a purchase after clicking on your banner the purchase is recorded.
Commissions
You can set-up payments for Primary and Secondary affiliates, sometimes called
two-tier programs. The Primary affiliate is the one who actually sent you the
customer. A secondary affiliate's commission is typicaly much smaller and is paid
to someone who helped recruit the Primary affiliate. You will need to setup a percentage of the sales amount that you are willing to pay the affiliate for the sale.
Tracking
Tracking of customers is done by using a cookie which is handed to them at the time they
click through from the affiliate. You can specify how long that cookie lasts and this is
checked at the time of the sale. Set it to zero if you want to use a session cookie; one that
dies when the browser is shut down.

- Setting up a page on your website where the customer can find more information about your program.
