Favicons
Would you like to display your own icon on the browser address bar when visitors view or bookmark your web page?
What is a favicon?  That's the small image in your browser's address bar and on the tabbed browsing in Konqueror, Internet Explorer,  Galeon,  Mozilla Firefox and Netscape!  It also shows up when someone adds your site to their favorites menu.  It's like a little logo to tell the world who you are!

Favicon (pronounced fav-eye-con) is short for 'Favorites Icon.' A Favicon is a multi-resolution image included on nearly all professional developed sites. Within Internet Explorer the Favicon is displayed on the Address line and in the Favorites menu. The Favicon allows the webmaster to further promote their site, and to create a more customized appearance within a visitor's browser. Often, the Favicon reflects the look and feel of the web site or your organization's logo.

We will need the location of the image you want to use for your favicon, usually and image from your website.

The Favicon will be uploaded to your public.html folder and a line of code will be placed in your template.  You will need to fill out the General Website Information form or you may choose to fill in the fields below.
